Living models are demonstating Sony's new lightweight Vaio notebook across Manhattan.

Models outfitted in original designs from six up and coming fashion designers and accessorized with Sony's sleek new 1.4 pound VAIO Lifestyle PC, are hitting fashion-forward neighborhoods in NYC until Feb. 14.

The mannequins have caught the attention of a fashion reporter at the Wall Street Journal, who kicked off coverage for the mannequin deployment. In addition to turning consumers' heads on the streets, this initiative is supported by an online campaign and website - www.sony.com/golightly - and a YouTube channel logging people's first impressions of the P Series unit at Sony Style stores across the country as well as behind the scenes video of the fashion designers preparing for the biggest week of their lives.
